It was over a week of trying to get that tone right and being able to do it at will when asked to. Finally, she had managed to achieve it and Lucian had smiled right at her. “You’ve got it perfect, you’re halfway there Addi.” He’d told her happy when he’d randomly asked her to produce it, and she had without issue.
The word halfway had wiped the smile off her face. “Halfway?” she asked right back.
“Yes, now I have to teach you how to direct it into the water, push it below the surface, that is the hard part.”
