- Zayn - I cradled Elizabeth in my arms, her slight form a fragile weight against me as I rocked her gently. The faint strands of her hair brushed lightly against my arm, her breath a whisper barely audible in the stillness of the dimly lit room. I could feel the warmth radiating from her, mixed with the unsettling chill that had settled deep within me, gnawing at my insides like a ravenous beast.
