When Paul asked Jake to ensure everyone was at home Jake had no idea what the old man was planning. He did not know what he wanted to say which made his work even harder because they kept asking him the same thing. Surprisingly the head of the family herself did not ask more questions as compared to the others. He did it anyway. Dinner was served. It was chatty as they were wondering what Paul wanted to say and how important it was. Others already had the speculation on their lips, he was retiring. The old man had enough or he was sick. Cancer maybe. The tension was building up. Alicia tried her best to calm them down.
“If Paul says it’s important, it’s important let’s wait and see” She said.
