Alpha Gregory

Cody had made it to the other pack in record time and been warmly welcomed immediately, thankfully those on patrol aware of who he was and waving him straight in. The big burly man had met him at the pack house, eyes fairly twinkling in merriment and Cody had gulped knowing he was in for a big night. He'd handed the letter to Alpha Gregory who'd skimmed it, raised an eyebrow, muttered something ineligible and then thrown his thick arm over Cody's shoulder, giving him a heavy pat on the back that almost sent him to the ground. "Ah lad" he enthused "glad to see you I right am. It's been a wee while hasn't it. Let's go and round some of the boys up eh? Get a bonfire going and all that." Well that was predictable thought Cody wryly, he'd known this would happen and yet voiced no objections as he followed the large imposing man outdoors. Who was he to argue with an Alpha after all? Besides what harm could it possibly do to party with some other members of the pack? An hour later and Cody was biting back his words, Alpha Gregory well and truly tipsy by now, dancing around the bonfire while the other's roared with laughter. "I'd like to see you do better" Gregory told his men and they complied, one even break dancing and well and truly outdoing the Alpha who took his place back in his seat looking very sulky indeed. Some women had joined them and Cody winced as one glided over to him, her very revealing red dress showing off her cleavage and the long length of her legs with the split going to mid thigh. She was beautiful, he granted her that, her black hair flowing down her shoulders and her eyes almost like black pools as she came to a halt next to his own seat. "Hello gorgeous" she almost purred and Cody groaned. She was tipsy as well and he'd been trained to always be polite to women but he hated being in this predicament. Some werewolves didn't wait for their mates before partaking in certain physical activities but he had. He'd wanted his first time to be special and with someone he loved, not something to look back on and regret. If his mate however hadn't he wouldn't be upset. It was his personal choice, it didn't have to be hers as well in order for him to cherish and love her. He wasn't that type of man. Apollo on the other hand was basking in the woman's compliments and clear desire to get him into her bed. Cody sighed. His wolf was a horn dog, there was no denying it. Werewolves were highly s****l and of course Apollo also wanted his mate but it didn't stop him from flirting back or eyeing the beautiful women. She's stunning and look at those luscious curves of hers Apollo commented and Cody rolled his eyes as she began to trail a finger down his arm and his chest as he tried not to shudder. "I've seen you around here before but never had the chance to speak to you before" she said, voice smoky and seductive. "I'm just visiting" he hedged and she gave a short laugh. "Perfect" she enthused and he tensed, hoping she wasn't about to suggest what he suspected she was. "Listen" she breathed, bending down and giving him a clear cut view of her ample cleavage, her breasts almost spilling out of her tight fitting dress. "We're both adults" she added unnecessarily, "why don't you and I leave the other's to their fun" she said pointedly looking at the drunken mob gathered around the bonfire "and go and have some fun of our own? I have a perfectly comfortable bed" she said unabashedly. Cody almost groaned out loud. Yep, she'd propositioned him and now he would have to tread carefully while refusing the request. "While I appreciate the um offer" he stammered, trying not to blush as her eyes lit up and she licked her lips hungrily "I'm actually saving myself for my mate" he added weakly. The woman blinked in surprise. "Saving yourself for your mate" she repeated unsure if she'd heard him correctly. He nodded miserably. "Well that's um unexpected" she said standing upright rather hurriedly "forgive me for the assumption" she added and he blinked. "It's not often I get refused and I respect you for having made that decision" she explained kindly "had I known I would never have hit on you in the first place. Sorry" she apologised and without another word sailed off. Well that had gone better than he'd expected thought Cody. Sometimes the women got disappointed and derogatory when he said that. This woman had been mature about it and moved on. He spotted her trying her luck with one of the few men not drunk and grinned. At least she wasn't claiming he'd led her on or broken her heart. A free spirit that one was and good for her he applauded. "Lad" he heard and sighed, Alpha Gregory stumbling over to him with a full bottle of vodka and coke in his hands. "You've barely had anything to drink but a mere droplet" he slurred. That wasn't completely true, he just hadn't kept up with the copious amounts Gregory had drunk he mused eyeing the man with worry. "Here" the Alpha declared handing both to him "this should get you drunk nicely" he beamed. Cody was about to protest then saw the gleam in Gregory's eyes and realised it was futile. He sighed then looked at the big man. "I need a glass" he murmured and without further ado someone handed him one as though appearing out of thin air. Naturally. He began to drink, cheering up more with every glass until he too was as drunk as a skunk, stumbling every which way. It had become a competition to see who would fall out first, Cody determined it wasn't going to be him after the mouse trap incident, Alpha Gregory just as determined. To Cody's great delight Alpha Gregory was the first to topple and pass out on the ground. The crowd cheered Cody on as he fetched a permanent marked and gave a wicked grin to them all as he began to draw some very interesting things on the Alpha who didn't even stir the whole time. He wondered what Gregory's reaction was going to be when he woke up and began to chortle. He couldn't wait.
