Cody didn't know what it was but something was making him slightly uneasy. Cassie had disappeared to the bathroom but it seemed to be taking an awfully long time for her to come back.
"I'm just going to go check on her" Cody muttered to Samson who raised an eyebrow but nodded his understanding.
"Don't take too long, court will be back in session shortly" Samson warned and Cody gave him a short nod as he hurried out of the courtroom and headed towards the ladies room.
He felt something barrel into him and glanced down to see a woman sprawled on the ground, papers everywhere and realised in his rush he'd knocked the poor thing down with his body. He immediately apologised.
