Cody felt the gunshot, his chest feeling like it was being ripped apart as he fell in shock, hearing the second shot as Benjamin was hit right next to him. He could hear Cassie crying in the background and screaming as Johnathon forced her away, panting heavily and sweating profusely as the bullet pushed itself upwards and out.
