My dad doesn't dare to argue with my mom , but I know in his heart that my father still wants me to accept being set up with his colleague's son.
Nanette's phone rings; Valdo's name appears on the screen.
"Hello, Val, what's up?” .
"I'm at your house. According to the security, the troublemakers left around 2 a.m. They were just sitting in the front garden observing the house, not shouting anymore. They left after the police patrol car arrived. Before leaving, one of them told the security that they'll come back to the house in the afternoon. I'm heading to the police station now to report yesterday's incident. My advice, don't come home yet. Let them come to the house; their intention is only to intimidate.
