Nanette carefully unwraps the bandage on Valdo's abdomen. Valdo's wound is quite long, stretching from the left side of his stomach to his waist, causing him considerable pain when walking or sitting. The bandage needs to be removed; the doctor recommended letting it breathe at night and applying medication only. It will be reapplied in the morning before any activity to speed up the healing process.
Valdo winces as Nanette applies ointment to his reddened wound. "Is it very painful, Val?" Nanette ask softly.
"It's bearable. It still hurts a bit when I move," he replies.
"Have you ever been injured like this during your time as a bodyguard?" Nanette inquires.
"This is the worst. Previously, it was just bruises from pulling and tugging with aggressive fans who wanted to approach their
