Cynthia is happy for Nanette's happiness. There's nothing wrong with feelings of love. Love can surface anytime, just like how she fell for Lucas merely through a photograph.
"Let's go! Are you ready to head back, Val?" Cynthia asks Valdo, who appears to be smiling with Lucas.
"Yes. I drove separately, and my parents drove another car. So they've already left; I'll stay at Valdi's house tonight to oversee the renovation. Tomorrow morning, I have a meeting with the contractor," Valdo says, inviting them to the elevator towards the parking area.
"Cyn, just wait in the lobby, so I can pick you up and save you from walking," Lucas says, being considerate.
"No need. Let's walk together and chat. I know what you guys were discussing earlier. About Nanette and Valdo falling in love. Right?" C
