Today, Nanette and I head to Hatyai to attend the TS Company's anniversary party, which I own. The company was co-founded with my friend Sonchai, a Thai conglomerate's son and my college mate back in Kuala Lumpur. Sonchai has been my business partner since the beginning. We started with a fitness center for athletes in Kuala Lumpur, then expanded to a public gym for all ages. We also established a company providing private bodyguards' services for celebrities and wealthy individuals needing security and comfort.
Suddenly, I hear Nanette asking, "Why did you start a bodyguard service and training business, Val?"
