Suddenly, the fake shadows around me became more aggressive. As if it was their last chance. One of them grabbed me by the ankle, wrapping around it like a tentacle and pulling. Not thinking twice, I got one arrow out of the quiver and stabbed that shadow with its tip. Shockingly, it worked perfectly. The darkness dissipated, and I realised that the enchanted arrows that Killian gave me really did work!
