It looked big and long… and was wrapped in some kind of fabric. “I am afraid to ask,” I giggled, looking at his serious face when he was back with me. “Then don’t ask. Just open my present,” Killian said sternly. As if he wasn’t giving me a gift but was lecturing me instead. And that was when it hit me. A gift! He was giving me a gift! I couldn’t take it.
