ONE YEAR LATER
Once things settled down in Virginia and Caleb and Pearl had everything under control, Adam and I decided it was time to head back to the Island. He had a pack to lead there, and I was now his Luna. I was thrilled about bringing Bently along with us and raising him on such a gorgeous island.
I knew this experience would be completely different from my last visit. While I had been impressed before, this time I was looking forward to a totally new adventure and genuinely excited about what lay ahead.
We were still living in the same house next to the packhouse, which had two bedrooms. So, we didn't need to fret about finding a bigger place or moving into the packhouse just yet. Adam’s home was definitely spacious enough for the three of us.
