Azalea stayed at the house with me until Holden arrived after his training session. Since she wasn’t allowed to leave, Holden went to get us dinner while I took a shower.
Once I got dressed, we gathered around the dining table to eat together.
“So, are you two together?” I asked.
“Yeah, we're mates,” Azalea replied.
“I thought there was something more between you. You’re always together,” I said.
“That’s what it means to be mates. We can’t get enough of each other, no matter what,” Azalea explained.
“I wish it were the same with humans. What about infidelity among werewolves?” I inquired.
“It doesn’t exist. If one of us cheats, the other can feel it, and it’s really painful. But once we find our mate, we aren’t interested in anyone else. Just the thought of being with someone else
