I sat in the room staring up at the screen, unable to look around for Adam or anyone else. But I could feel the happiness radiating off of Brady as he sat next to me. “What is this? Turn it off.” Reid yelled, standing up. “Sir, don’t you want the truth? We found someone who knows everything. We should hear her out,” Brady said, motivated by his belief that learning the truth could help the council make the right decision.
