That night, I managed to get a few hours of sleep, but I woke up at 5 a.m. I bathed Bentley, dressed him in fresh clothes, gave him a bottle, and put him back to bed. Afterward, I finally had a chance to take a shower and get dressed for the day. I packed all of my books into my bag and headed to the kitchen for something to eat. I dropped Bentley off with Pearl at 8 a.m. before leaving the packhouse and heading off the territory. I drove for an hour to get to college, where I had three back-to-back classes.
