“I miss this place.”
Mara said as we all got out of the cars when we arrived by the lake. The place was the same as the last time we had been. It was not hot. The wind was very calming. Birds chirping and leaves on the trees rustling, the place could surely clear our minds. The water on the lake ahead us looked so clear. It was so tempting that I just wanted to dive in there already.
We had just came from and the group decided to go back to the lake the next day after.
“Come on.” Elijah said, ushering us to the cabin.
The yard needed sweeping. I made sure to note that before we walked through the wooden door, with Eli leading the way. It was a little bit dusty and there were already some cobwebs.
