Everyone gathered around the beach. I realized I had been waiting for this to happen. The girls and I were currently setting up the picnic blanket and the food while the boys were grilling the barbecue.
"You're glowing," Andi commented all of a sudden.
I looked at Mara and smiled. "Yeah, you're glowing," I confirmed.
Mara stared at me and then just suddenly laughed. She shook her head as she said, "We're talking about you."
"Huh?" I frowned. "Me? Why?" I gathered my knees to my chest as I sat on the blanket. "Maybe it's my sunscreen? It's new with SPF50 PA+++." I did not know why I came up with that. Every time I get compliments, I get shy and uncomfortable. I could just thank them, though.
"Oh, we see. I'm going to buy that sunscreen, too." Andi just laughed it off.
