In this life, you could either be one of the two opposite things. Be calm or angry. Be sad or happy. Be grateful or unappreciative. At the moment, I was so calm, happy, and grateful. In fact, I felt beyond those feelings. I was ecstatic. My heart was just full of love for this woman.
I had woken up to something poking my nostrils and almost, making me sneeze. Lulu’s hair was all over my face. I could not get back to sleep anymore. The time on the alarm clock beside her bed said it was already quarter to five in the morning. Her mother would be home by seven. I could just wait for Lulu to wake up, shower, and get changed. We could have breakfast in my house, I thought.
