Juniper Lukas’s ceremony was in two days, and the packhouse was looking like a warehouse for party decorations. The linens and centerpieces — minus the flowers — had been delivered, and we were spending the morning in the dining room, going through it all to make sure everything was there, and nothing was forgotten. The next day, we would start setting everything up outside in the courtyard, and the day after, the flowers would be delivered and set up as well for the ceremony that evening.
