SHE woke up alone in bed. Again. Villel gathered her hair in one shoulder after she sat in the middle of the huge bed. The floor-to-ceiling curtains were still covering the expanse of the glass wall on one side of the room. If not for the digital alarm clock she would not know that it is already past nine in the morning on a Saturday. It is the weekend again. A day short for a long week when she and Solana went shopping. She grabbed for the blanket and wrapped it around herself when the cold air of the AC seeped into her bare skin. It has been days since she and Solana were not on speaking terms. It all started when they saw Tomas and Anushka at the mall. Though they slept in the same bed, ate at the same table, and went to the office together but they barely made a conversation.
