KNOCK … KNOCK
There was a slight knock on the door and then the door of the apartment was opened in seconds from inside revealing Emma with a sweet smile on her face.
“Dinner is ready…” She informed politely.
Henry pretended to take a sniff and then grinned at her, “I could smell it.”
Emma stepped aside to let him in.
He stepped inside the familiar space and as usual, Emma stepped forward and took off his coat while he started to roll up his sleeves and then went to the bathroom to freshen up.
While Emma started to place the dinner on the table neatly.
When Henry returned from the washroom, Emma had already placed the dinner on the table.
