I knew that I had always been whipped but it couldn't have appeared more intense as I took in the sight of her perched on the sofa, tapping away on her phone. The lights that oozed from the bulb cast a glow on her flawless skin, effortlessly singling her out like a celestial being who looked too pure to be seated there.
