I spent my day buying underwear but also procrastinating at a cafe. I did want Jax to suffer a little bit, even though I knew Corey kept him up to date through mindlink. He tried talking with me about what was going on, but I said nothing.
When it was getting dark, and I had gotten bored, I finally went home. I actually missed Jax a bit and was annoyed at myself for being so childish. I knew that me leaving the pack grounds made Jax worried, and he had felt bad enough since before. I sighed as I walked in the door and up to our room. Jax wasn't there, much to my dismay. I wanted him to be there and try to smooth things over.
I waited up for him, but he never came. I was concerned that he wouldn't come to me if I had overstepped. I finally went to bed but was too worried to fall asleep.
