My parents were out for the evening for yet another Bible study class, and I was flipping through the limited channels on their TV. Rebecca had cable and streaming services. My parents just had public access television. It was boring and mostly news stations.
Flipping through the channels, I thought I saw a familiar face on a news station that was reporting an arrest. I wasn't sure because of the flashing lights of the cop cars, so I flipped back, and then I gasped at the screen.
It was Oliver.
The video footage showed him being handcuffed in his own front yard, smirking at the cameras.
Then the video panned over to Gia Beck in the back of an ambulance. She was shivering and shaking with a blanket around her and being treated by EMTs, with blood all over her.
