I felt something hit my face. It was soft, feathery, and very annoying. Without opening my eyes, I tried to bat it away. Who was trying to annoy me? After a few seconds, it was on my face again. My hands went towards the nightstand so I can throw something at that thing. But I found nothing. "Go away!" I groaned, clenching my eyes shut. "Morning, sunshine," Jace's voice echoed brightly. The thing hit my face again. Did he have a death wish? Last night was heavy. We were talking till it the clock struck midnight. He went back to his room only after I said that it was okay. I forgave him for the painting thing even though it was the only exciting thing in my life. That sounded sad. Jace cleared his throat, "It's a bright, beautiful day. We need to be out the door in thirty minutes
