When Jace was asked to go along with his father, he didn't have any chance. After all his mother didn't keep any relation with her family, so they did not know him, he was sat on the comfy chair in the cold room, and the person dressed in a suit like his father told him it was better to go with his father. Everything was going so fast he didn't understand how to make sense of it.
But the moment his father stepped in that office, he declared that Jace would go with him. The six-year-old did not have any choice but to follow his father. And the most exciting thing was he had no idea his father had another house—a mansion at that.
