Jace was nervous about stepping into the office. As a kid, he had been there several times, but now that he was joining as the Vice President, it was different. He tried to convince Thomas, his father's secretary, that it was an awful idea. But Thomas said that it's what his father wanted.
When he stepped into the office, trying to not puke, he stumbled into someone. It was his fault for not watching where he was going. That sent all the files scattered on the floor. He tried to apologise to the women.
She smiled, "That's okay. I was not paying attention."
"No, it's my fault. Sorry again" He nervously breathed while trying to pick all the papers from the floor. She waved it off and got on the ground as well, pulling the documents along with him.
