Jace had his first relationship when he was seventeen. He still remembered how he was nervous about asking her out. Sarah was the first girl who stuck out. As she was the transfer student, she didn't know his history or the way people treated him.
It felt good to know that she would be there for him. When he asked her out, she squealed and did the whole thing before finally accepting.
