ELLA
The first thing I was aware of as I regained consciousness was loud beeping somewhere beside me. It was fairly annoying actually. There were also voices. I tried to open my eyes, but they still felt so heavy. So I listened instead.
"Thanks for looking after Bubble, Megan." That was Damien.
"Sure. I'd rather be here though." Megan replied. She paused. "I wish she'd open her eyes." She whispered.
"Same."
They lapsed into silence. I wanted to see them so badly. Straining, I finally located the right muscles, blinking my eyes open slowly, looking around. I was in a white hospital room, with a machine making the loud beeping noise beside me. Megan was standing near the wall, Damien on a small grey couch near the window, head in hands.
"Oh my God! Ella!" Megan said, rushing to me
