It wasn't until I set foot on the first step of the temple I realized just why Mafdel was so uncomfortable here, or at least had a glimmer of her disquiet. Don't get me wrong, I was well aware of the fate of Pantheons that lost their worshippers. Once vast, great realms faded and retreated, becoming stagnant, still, grief-filled places of longing for days gone by. It was probably a good thing we could only go so far back in Time.
