All weekend Dashawn made me rest. He didn’t take me to the compound. In fact, Tawny and mama visited me and kept me company while Dashawn had to run to the clubhouse for business. He wasn't staying overnight though. He told me that we would never sleep apart unless he’s on a run or mission.
He spoke to me about the missions. He said technically they are club business, but he refused to keep me in the dark in case something happened to him. Tonight he said he had something important to talk to me about. Tawny and mama had just left, and I was waiting for him to get home. Except for the few hours he’s been gone, he’s pampered me like crazy. I was not to stand at all. He said, if I needed to go to the restroom he would carry me. He wanted me to rest, drink water and eat.
