Yes, there were some very odd clauses in Leigh’s Mating Alliance, though that one about announcing her and those other clauses attached to it. He didn’t really have a problem with, seeing as she had yet to even look over the alliance papers and what was in them. Still didn’t seem to even care to know what was in them.
She’d also not claimed him officially either, but didn’t tell his mother that. The woman would likely blow a gasket and beat him, blame him for it. State it was once again all his fault, even though Leigh had told her it wasn’t. His own mother would want to placate her new daughter into claiming him, so laying all the blame on Brax was the way to do that in her eyes. To get Leigh to like her.
