In a flash, it was the day of the fabric show, and Chris sent a dress and matching jewelry the day before. The design of these things was not new, but just looked gorgeous and expensive because they were very precious rubies. I was very careful when wearing them, very afraid that if the ruby came off accidentally, how would I return it to Arther?
Although I still had ambivalent feelings about Arther, plus Adrian's warning to me had put my guard back up, I really wanted to go to the cloth exhibition, and I didn't want to miss such a good opportunity.
Arther spent a lot of time on this cloth show, which was said to be different from all the other shows, and he collected many other precious fabrics besides Mr. Bertram's.
