When Danica saw that Guarav was inching away from her, it was like someone threw a barrel of cold water at her. A powerful force slapped her in her face. She suddenly had the urge to call him back.
And she found herself doing just that..." Gi!" she uttered in a trembling voice.
Gaurav's hand holding the doorknob instantly froze. He was motionless for some time before he decided to turn around and face Danica.
He found her inched slowly towards him until she stood straight in front of him. Her eyes were filled with tears.
Gaurav's throat had dried. He wanted to extend his arms to envelop her in his arms, but he was afraid his action would worsen their situation at the moment. He wouldn't want to cause more trouble.
