AUTHOR's NARRATION
Gaurav brought her back to her flat after they had dinner the next day. They discussed the conditions of their “secret agreement,” which made Danie’s head spin. Worst of all, Gaurav wouldn’t allow her to back out from their deal. Accordingly, he fulfilled her condition. It was her end of the bargain that she needed to fulfill.
The result was that she was unable to sleep well the entire weekend.
When Monday came, she entered the office thirty minutes later than her usual arrival time. She looked like a zombie out of the tomb. She wore shades to hide the shadows under her eyes. Her spirit was shallow and lacking her usual glow.
