Danie and I were having lunch in silence, no one was willing to break the calm between us...
To say that I was annoyed was an understatement. Remembering what she said "Let's stay as friends Gi. We are better off as friends." It echoed in my ears over and over again, but I managed to control the sudden release of strong emotion. Again, I was glad of my exceptional upbringing. My heartfelt thanks to Mom and Dad, but this heartless lady in front of me made me as mad as hell from the tip of my toes up to the tips of my hair. It was good that I was calmer now than earlier.
SHIT that word FRIEND. I hated that word. Why did she value it too much?
