We received the call at lunchtime, while sitting outside under a tree enjoying our lunch and chatting.
'Guys got to go to the training. A practice match is in two weeks, and the coach wants us to start now.' The assistant coach came rushing over, gave us the news, and rushed off to spread the word.
'That was odd, why not just announce it over the PA?' Gemma queried; it was a rhetorical question, spoken out loud, what the rest of us were thinking.
'I am going to watch.' Austin said he was on the swim team.
'We might have cheer training; we will come too.'
