It was unexpected to see Uncle Bob so soon at the dining table.
I was as excited to see him as everyone else. To have come out with no side effects from the operation that nearly took his life is a miracle and a tribute to Dad's quick intervention and getting the help he needed. Also, having Aunt Bethany and Uncle Theo on the premises was lucky. They could have been at the other hospital, and time was essential to get help ASAP.
It appears that fate had a hand in this. Uncle Bob had managed to avoid death several times in his life, and I, for one, am very grateful that he had.
