Alex POV
I was out like a light when my head hit that pillow.
It had been a long night, and my body was aching.
I might have strained a muscle or two trying to get Axel out of the ship, or should I say, when he suddenly gave way, and I suddenly gained all that weight. I had to juggle his weight while Matt helped attach the harness to me. While I waited for the go, my arms shook, trying desperately to hold him and not drop him. I had never had to keep that sort of weight for so long when training, but I would drop my brother no matter what it cost me.
I hope it will be right as rain after that hot shower I took before I climbed into bed. Hopefully, I will sleep well.
My sleep was disturbed by Gemma shaking my shoulder.
