Bob had a high fever overnight, and I was not leaving him today. The antibiotics were not working as well as Theo had liked, so he had changed the treatment. Bob had been sleeping through it all, and I was grateful. Bob had been through enough, which would at least make him rest. His mind and body need to heal.
Theo will be back later today to take more blood. He tried to show his confidence, but I could see the worry in his eyes. Bob was fighting hard, but so far he has not won.
