The children had left for school, and the king had us in his office. We were discussing Melony and what to do. Scott told us about his discussion with Sandra, and I am grateful to Gemma and Alex for working so hard to have Sandra over the incident. That sort of trauma could ruin a girl's life.
My phone rang, and I looked down to see who was calling. The number was not one I was familiar with.
'Hello?' I answered, getting up from my chair and walking to the door to avoid disturbing the meeting.
