The sports day was held on a Friday. Our team was in the quarter-finals, and it was being played that day.
That worked out well for us, as tomorrow was the day I could not be with Gemma, and the following day, I would get married and crowned as king.
Today, we sang our team's song as they won the game. It was close, but the end score counted, and we made it. There were some injury woes, but they had a week to get that sorted. Hopefully, it was not too bad.
Bethany was still the crackup she was when I was younger, getting up and inspiring us all to do the happy dance.
