Bethany POV
The lights of the private runway come into view, and it is five o'clock in the morning here.
It is Gemma's birthday, and the girls and I are going to the spa day. We sneak in the backway and stay in the wing with Pam, so she does not see us until she arrives at the spa. The girls are excited to surprise her; they have talked about it nonstop since we came up with the idea. Our school breaks are slightly different, and though they go back to school on Wednesday, an odd day to return if you asked me, we have another week's break, so we can stay here for ten days before we head back.
The doors opened to the early morning light; the sun had not yet risen, but it was light enough to see.
Two vehicles were waiting to take my family to the palace.
