Oliver's POV
I am thinking of getting my mother to agree to go to Paris. I will have to lie to her. She has been lying to me my whole life. She lied to me about Dean not always being there and that he was uninterested in me. She liked about me being his son. My whole life since childhood has been a lie. I do not know why my mother is like this. Why couldn't you tell us the truth? I will tell her that Dean and Valerie have moved out of town. They are going to Paris. I told Dean I would tell her I had bought her a little cafe in Paris. I will tell her I know that she does not want to be away from Dean. I did it for her. Once she is there, she cannot come back. I will tell her she must go before Dean and Valerie announce it, or else the book will think she is running after Dean again.
