After Sophia met up with Emily and Alex, the three of them spent some time exploring Italy together.
At first, Emily was still a bit lost and anxious about life in a new country. But after traveling around like that, all those worries just melted away. Everything here made her feel relaxed, like she could finally breathe. No more nightmares from home, no more messy people or things haunting her.
Though sometimes she still woke up in a cold sweat, dreaming about being beaten in prison. But every time morning came and she saw the locals with their blonde hair and blue eyes, a quiet calm settled in her chest.
With time, especially with Alex and Sophia around, and being surrounded by all that warm and passionate Italian energy, those bad dreams started to fade.
