Constance From the moment we got into Scar's car, I could sense something was wrong. Whatever conversation he had with my dad obviously didn't go over very well. Even though I wanted to know what it was, I wouldn't push him to talk about it. If he wanted to talk about it, eventually, he would. I just had to trust that it wasn't something that would ruin the relationship we had built. I could see my dad telling Scar to stay away from me. That was pretty much a given, but since when did Scar care about that? Honestly, I could see him telling my dad to go to hell. However, if my dad refused to help us, Scar might feel inclined to listen to him to protect me. I hope that wasn't what this was about. Despite this unsettling feeling that I had, I pushed it toward the side. Scar just opened up
