Constance When I awoke, I was surrounded by white walls and a monitor beeping lightly beside me. I knew instantly that I had made it to the hospital. I’m not sure how long I’d been out or who even got me here, but I was thankful. It must have meant that we weren’t in immediate danger, and Diego must have stopped looking. My mom wouldn’t have brought me here if she thought we were still being hunted. As I began to move a little, I heard shifting from beside me.
