When we arrived at my house, I hurriedly walked in and called out for my father but he didn't reply. I went to his room, and seeing as he was not there, I decided to try somewhere else. I took Rachael's hand in mine and started to lead her to the backyard.
Before we even got close enough, I heard laughter coming from dad and who I assume was Lucy. But, I got the shock of my life when I saw that it wasn't Lucy, but another woman close to his age.
"Dad!" I exclaimed, making them snap their heads towards me. They were in the pool drinking. Dad had orange juice, while the lady had what appeared to be wine.
