After Mark left, Cara was on my case, wanting to know why Mark was there and what we were talking about. “I told you this is none of your business, Cara. Why do you like nosing around people’s affairs?”
“Because you are my sister? Is that not a good reason enough?” She asked, and I smiled.
“Yes, but stop asking about everything that is going on in my life.” I declared, and she shrugged.
I didn’t know what else to do given the fact that Mark had not only asked me once but several times to be part of Jason’s life, which was a difficult decision to make given what he did to me. I needed quick advice very fast, and my mom was the only person I could run to with that kind of problem.
